The 1937 Society

Thank you for creating transformative change for girls

Girls and their families around the world are coping with war, economic upheaval, disasters, food shortages and widespread hunger. As families fall deeper into poverty, girls’ futures are being sacrificed. They urgently need our help now.

We understand that many of our supporters are already doing all that they can. But if you have the capacity to give more now, please do.

Donors who contribute $1,500 or more in a single calendar year automatically become members of Plan’s 1937 Society. Named for the year Plan was founded, the 1937 Society was created to honor supporters who show extraordinary commitment to creating transformative change.

Members enjoy exclusive benefits, including:
  • Access to members-only webinars with Plan program experts.
  • Access to curated content on your 1937 Society members-only page.
  • Advance invitations to Plan events.
  • An annual members-only update from Plan International USA President & CEO Shanna Marzilli.
  • Direct access to a dedicated 1937 Society contact person in our Rhode Island headquarters.
  • A designated contact person to help you plan trips to witness your impact firsthand, and/or visit your sponsored child (when travel is permitted).

Most importantly, you’ll be supporting Plan’s critical girl-led work and ensuring that our progress toward equality moves forward at full force.

We know the challenges that girls around the world are facing every day, but we also see the incredible potential they possess. We need your help to make gender equality a reality for the next generation.
