Amanda Ellis

Manager, Disaster Risk Management

Amanda Ellis is an international development professional with more than five years of experience in the field. She provides technical support to a portfolio of donor-funded projects in East and West Africa, spanning the technical areas of peacebuilding, social cohesion, and refugee assistance programming. Prior to joining the Disaster Risk Management team, she was a member of Plan International USA’s Business Development team, where she led proposal management efforts for U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), U.S. Department of State, and USAID/Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) funding opportunities. 

Amanda holds a M.A. in international peace and security from King’s College London and a B.A. in international affairs from Northeastern University.
