John (Jack) Poulson is the Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee at Plan International USA.

With more than 35 years of experience as an Executive and Portfolio Manager in the Asset Management industry, he began his career at Greenwich Capital Markets (GCM), relocating to London to serve as the Managing Director for Greenwich NatWest. Later, he founded the Silvermine Team within Mariner Investment Group, which focused on developing trading strategies in the global fixed-income markets.

Mr. Poulson currently serves as the Managing Director and Head Portfolio Manager for the Silvermine Team.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston. He is a past board member of St. Luke’s LifeWorks Foundation (now known as Inspirica). He also served as the Chair of Annual Giving and Capital Campaigns and on the Vestry Committee at St. Mark’s Church in New Canaan, CT.
