Mo’ne Davis

Mo’ne Davis is a 13-year-old Little League Baseball pitcher from Philadelphia. She is one of two girls who played in the 2014 Little League World Series and is the first girl to earn a win and to pitch a shutout in Little League World Series history. She is the 18th girl overall to play, the sixth to get a hit, and the first African-American girl to play in the Little League World Series. She is also the first Little League baseball player to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated as a Little League player.

Along with becoming a Plan International USA ambassador, Mo’ne is releasing her memoirs (Mo’ne Davis: Remember my Name) and a TV movie for Disney. Mo’ne has also partnered with M4D3 (Make a Difference Every Day) shoes to release the Mo’ne Davis Collection. As part of her support, she designed and is promoting three high-top sneakers to support girls and women worldwide.
