Parth was drawn to Plan International USA’s Youth Advisory Board because of its mission to help others.

“The satisfaction you get after helping people is frankly unbeatable, and as someone who’s witnessed what it’s like to live within poverty and socio-economic boundaries, giving people the chance to succeed is important to me,” he said. “Having the chance to help others across the world build the foundations for their futures and have the same opportunities we have is rare and extremely valuable. To me, there’s no better way to help those in need and meet some amazing people at the same time.”

Parth loves to travel, and in 10 years he hopes to be working for a tech company as an engineer.

His first YAB retreat was his favorite memory during his time at Plan.

“It was also exciting to set our goals for 2018 and pick subcommittees. Seeing the ideas everyone had for the organization was interesting, and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish,” he said.
