Meet Karma, Plan International’s first-ever animated global ambassador!

Plan International and 9 Story Media are partnering to welcome our first-ever animated global ambassador: Karma Grant, from the hit Netflix series Karma’s World!

Karma is an ambitious and strongly empathetic girl who uses her music to bring about change in her community. She’s a loving daughter, loyal friend and thoughtful neighbor with a big heart and a lot of talent.

Based on a concept created by Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and inspired by his own daughter, Karma Bridges, the show follows the life of a girl who dreams of changing the world with her music.

Through her role as a Plan ambassador, Karma is inspiring children around the world to express themselves through music, using it to unite with others and fight for girl’s rights and gender equality.

Sharing girls’ stories to create change

With a focus on diversity, leadership and creativity, Karma is sharing real stories of children and young people to show how they’re using music to create change in their communities.

Karma recently featured rap artists Maguy and Wawkoumba from Senegal, who work with Plan and are using their music to encourage girls to speak out about their experiences:
